Ghostbusters

I have been meaning to write something for a while now - it's like an itch, or something. You know you haven't written anything for a while but just as you go to write something, something else comes up to provide a distraction. Upon looking at recent posts I realised it has been a few months - I was hoping to do better at writing more often. I might write a few separate posts to make up for it!

This post is really just a quick update from my home life - I recently had a birthday and my amazing family gave me the Lego Ecto1 car to build (see attached pic). I spent an awesome afternoon putting this kit together while watching all the Ghostbusters movies. Such a blissful day. I even got a bit of help from my youngest child although he quickly lost interest after the first few pages of the instructions. He kept coming back to provide commentary on the movies though. He seems to be all about movie ratings at the moment. "This should totally be an M rated movie because of the ghosts, that is totally not appropriate for young kids". I tried to explain how much of a phenomenon it was back in the day, but I think it was lost on him. I think I have a photo of a young me in a ghostbusters t-shirt somewhere. I remember I lived in that t-shirt - it glowed in the dark! For the first few washes at least.
