Easter 2019.

Gotta love long weekends! But the traffic in town was way out of control! The shops close for a day and everyone is shopping like it’s Armageddon! Streets are packed, no parking spaces unless you stalk people back to their cars.

Luckily we didn’t need to go into town much, spent most of the time sitting around, binge watching Game of Thrones but I did get a ride in, even if it was just a short one to the other side of town to watch Avengers Infinity War in preparation for End Game this week.

I also had a burst of creativity and carved a Platypus out of some scrap wood (see pic). I recently have been watching some videos by Bobby Duke Arts and I have been meaning to try some carving using the Dremel rotary tool. While it is not brilliant, I’m pretty proud of it and I gave it to my wife, Julia. I had thinking of creating similar items to house USB sticks which I could potentially sell at markets or online but I would need to purchase some cheap USB drives and I am saving for an overseas trip later in the year, maybe something for next year.
